How is life treating you? While some live the best days of our lives, others struggle to have a decent day. Life is not kind to everyone. You might be burdened with responsibilities or fighting off depression, or just waiting for that one moment where your life will change forever. Whatever it is, remember that you deserve to be happy. Because it is a choice, and it’s up to you to make it happen.

We all love it when we start to read a new book. The fragrance of the book is just mesmerizing or a new chapter. Have you ever thought about why we are more excited about reading something new or starting or exploring something new? Dopamine, a brain hormone, is the main reason behind all this. It makes me feel excited, and at the same time, it also triggers fear. Hence, sometimes we are afraid and excited at the same time when taking a step forward for something new.

We love to read a new chapter of a novel because it has a new mystery or is disclosing the suspense of the previous chapter. But why don’t we apply the same to our life? We learn many things, i.e. we have theoretical knowledge of almost 90% of everything, but we fail in the application, i.e. we don’t implement it in life. Our mistake is that we don’t take things seriously that need to be done, and we do precisely the opposite of that. We take those things seriously which are not meant to give full attention. We need to re-evaluate your priorities.

How to start a new chapter:

Before we move towards rereading theoretical knowledge or steps, let’s look at how we can implement it in our life because, as we discussed, implementation is more critical than just theoretical knowledge. When we listen to a song and have urgent work, we do precisely the same thing we have to do: press the pause button. We have to take a break, pause the stressful situation, and have a break. Break duration depends on you, and it can be short in the form of a stroll or going out for a drive or a long walk or shopping(or just window shopping) or anything you like.

There’s always a certain point in our lives where we feel that the odds are against us. This is when the saying “life sucks” comes to mind, but that’s not true. Life can be so beautiful, but only if you let it. May I suggest that you take a break — take a few steps back and stop living by default; live by choice instead. “Screw life! Let’s sit on a bench and do nothing all day!” Said nobody ever. Most would probably agree that we’re living in an era where not having to work is an improbability. The never-ending list of tasks to accomplish can get so long. We feel like we’re dying before our time. It’s time to recognize that your personal growth lies in fresh opportunities. And only you can help yourself.

You can do a few things to feel clean and fresh again. It’s all about your mindset, and the first step is to think positively. I know it sounds cliché, but it’s true, and you need to think positively before anything else.

  • Start by fixing your morning routine and have strong affirmations.
  • {Affirmations like:

> I have the power to change.

> I can recover from difficulties.

> I surround myself with positive, supportive people.

> Taking small steps every day can help me achieve big goals.

> I constantly attract opportunities that create more money.}

  • Wake up earlier, set a goal, work on it every day, and don’t stay in bed.
  • Don’t sleep with your phone beside you or watch TV every night before you sleep. Read at least five pages daily.
  • Meditate for 5–10 minutes, and exercise before going to school or work.
  • Drink enough water, and research says: that drinking water helps flush out toxins(including negative thoughts).
  • Have a healthy and proper diet for staying energetic.
  • Be polite; do things that make you happy; socialize more.

Doing these will help you feel more energetic, motivated, and optimistic about the day ahead.

It would be best to stop comparing yourself to others, accept yourself for who you are, focus on your strengths, work on your weaknesses, learn from mistakes, and most importantly, don’t dwell on the past because there is no way back in time. You can’t go back there and change what happened, so why not learn from past experiences and move forward?

If something is bothering you at the moment, try to find a solution for it or talk about it with someone close to you that could help you with it. Life is short.

Reconnect with self:

Life is weird and unpredictable. It’s something unexpected that you never know. Everyone deserves a fresh beginning. Having a fresh start allows you to move on from the past, leave it behind, and cause the world to forget all the bad things that have ever happened to you. It’s something that can be overwhelming out of nowhere, but eventually, you will realize this isn’t your fault. We live, we learn, and sometimes, we teach by not. Yet we continue to seek answers. We want to know what to do when the school bell rings, the job ends, or a relationship concludes. There are many things in the world that we are yet to understand. Most of us assume that answers lie ahead or behind — in front of us. So it’s nothing new for us to ask questions about life and its many things.

Leave the past behind. I know it’s hard to do that but let me tell you something, if you keep going back to your past, you’ll never have a future. The past is dead and gone. Let go of all that baggage that is holding you back from living your life the way you want to live it and start afresh. Pause if you are exhausted playing the same old game of life and give yourself some time to think about what will make you happy now.

Everybody deserves a fresh beginning and if happiness is what makes your heart sing, do whatever would make you happy! This is the time for you to do what you want and live the way you want. Give life a chance and open yourself up to new possibilities. Sometimes, we get too caught up in our daily lives that we don’t even realize that we no longer enjoy living it anymore. If this is the case with you, then it’s time for a break or a pause in your life, if you will. Take a step back, if only to see things more straightforwardly and gain perspective on what’s happening around you. Take some time off, if only so that you can recharge and reconnect with yourself again after being disconnected.

Final words:

It is not healthy to continue being upset with stuff from the past, and there is no use in that. The past is the past, and you have a new fresh start. Live your life happy and full of love. Try to forget about things that hurt you; time will heal you; you don’t need to be jealous of memory when you can create a real present yourself. No matter how much we try to push people away, they will always want to come back in some shape or form so let them come.

Life is funny; it throws things your way, and the unexpected will happen, making life more exciting. You can never really go wrong with trying again to work on your new beginning, and you will always end up with a fresh start despite what other people might think. This blog is written to make you think about the things in your life that are still bothering you, but stay positive and encourage you to leave them behind.

So, let me know how you are going to take a step forward to start a new chapter in life.

“Break the chains(past)!”
